The Managing Director of Kensington Taylor – a Chartered Architect who has worked with the Practice since 1995.
During that time he has covered a wide range of successful projects from residential to hotels, schools and stadia covering a wide geographical area. His detailed knowledge of the “Building Schools for the Future” initiative ensured a successful delivery of £24m new Secondary School as well as designing the new developments at Sandy Park for the Exeter Chiefs as well as other prominent Professional Sporting venues in the South West. Richard oversees and maintains the confidence of all of our clients.

The Chairman of Kensington Taylor – a Chartered Architect who formed Kensington Taylor over 30 years ago following periods working in London and Canada. His extensive experience in Education and Health underwrites Kensington Taylor’s reputation.
His detailed approach at the Briefing Stage reinforces client confidence and produces successful solutions – a philosophy he has followed throughout his career.

Andrew joined Kensington Taylor in 2003 after 18 years in London at pedigree practices, becoming an Associate in 2004 and Associate Director in 2005.
He has significant experience across all work stages on offices, schools, large scale housing, student accommodation, public works, airports, business parks and industrial parks. Andrew has a keen interest in environmental issues, context and site history as design generators.
Recent projects include, Paignton public library, Kings Ash school, an Autism teaching unit and the Isles of Scilly airport.
Andrew has acted as a professional examiner at the University of Plymouth and RIBA North West.

As Director and Chartered Architect, Ajay has over 16 years experience within the industry across the UK, and in particular the South West. He has also worked for international clients, especially for the European Union.
Ajay has extensive multi award-winning experience in health, education and defence, with strong project delivery capability and commercial awareness.
He works closely with Richard to lead a great team of designers to successfully deliver the right sustainable and innovative solution for all our clients. Ajay has had extensive experience as a practice principal in the South West for an international practice prior to joining Kensington Taylor.
Over the last 5 years, Ajay has been a dedicated committee member for the successful Building Forum in Devon and Cornwall. He has been involved with some major projects across the South West including Millfield School, University of Exeter, Plymouth University, Plymouth College of Art and the award-winning 1 Research Way at Plymouth Science Park.
