“A exemplar building with the necessary degree of excellence” – Bernard Flouquet Environment Minster States of Guernsey
The States of Guernsey held a select competition for the design of a New Terminal for Guernsey Airport in 1998. This, the chosen solution, is the result of interviews and competitive design studies. Detailed design and a traditional tender process then ensued. The final scheme, some 6000m2 in area, incorporates a traffic interchange, car parking, new aircraft stands and the demolition of the old terminal on completion.
*The project was awarded “Guernsey Design Award and the RIBA Town and County Award” in 2004
