Torquay Beacon Cove

Contract Value:    £Confidential

Client:    Torbay Council

A speculative study for Torbay Council for land at Beacon Cove, comprising of 14 luxury coastal apartments and retail offers at ground floor beach level, with the provision of a roof level restaurant. This was a particularly challenging sloping site with cliff face stability issues. The design concept takes its inspiration from the coastal villages of the Cinque Terre in Italy, where blocks of creams, yellows, ochres and crimson houses jostle for position on similar steep cliff faces.
