After undertaking a four-year City and Guilds apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery, achieving Craft & Advanced Craft certificates and working for 25 years in the cabinetmaking, shopfitting and building industries, Neil decided to re train as an architect.
Having achieved a 2.1 degree in Architecture, the Diploma in Architecture, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Architectural Conservation as a mature student, Neil is an architect registered with ARB. Since qualifying as an architect Neil has worked in the architectural profession, spending the last eighteen years in the south west.
He has experience across a broad range of work including commercial and medical developments, both new build and refurbishment, and has worked on a wide range of residential projects, including one off private dwellings, apartment buildings, and mass housing schemes, in addition to public community buildings.
Neil lives in South Devon with his partner and two children, and enjoys mountain biking, walking, woodworking, printmaking, cinema, slow food & real ale.
